  ELLEN MURRAY
  
    Ellen C. Murray, 98, of the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, died
  Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1987, shortly after being admitted to Frostburg
  Community Hospital, Md.
    She was born in Vale Summit on Sept. 24, 1888, daughter of the late
  David G. and Catherine (Lavin) Murray.
    She was formerly employed by the Mike Berkowitz Company, Frostburg,
  Md.  She served as a housekeeper in various parish rectories in
  Maryland, and retired as housekeeper at St. Anthony's Rectory in
  Ridgeley, W. Va.
    She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland, Md.
  and the Third Order of St. Francis.
    Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Barry, a resident of the
  Frostburg Village Nursing Home; Mrs. Isabelle Fair, of the Goodwill
  Mennonite Nursing Home, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Margaret Malloy,
  Mount Savage, Md.; one brother, James Murray, Cumberland, Md.; and a
  number of nieces and nephews.
    Durst Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
