  Hazel C. (Johnston) Murray, 90, of Laurel View Village, Davidsville,
  formerly of Jennerstown died March 13, 2002 at the village.  Born
  Dec. 3, 1911 in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County.  Daughter of
  Henry and Roxie (Bell) Johnston.  Preceded in death by parents,
  husband of 58 years Richard E. on April 19, 1999, infant brother
  Richard, brothers Robert and Milo, sisters Burdella Pile and Margaret
  Gonder-Weaver, and daughter-in-law Valerie A. (Brougher) Murray. 
  Survived by son Richard L. married to the former Charlene Maust of
  Berlin, daughter Donna J. married to James R. Benson, Mechanicsburg,
  and grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Murray of Jefferson City, Tenn.,
  Kristine R. and Kathryn E. Murray, both of Berlin, Matthew K. Benson
  and wife Julie of Lancaster, and Ryan S. Benson and fiancee Alicia
  Dubs of Mechanicsburg.  Graduate of Somerset High School and former
  California State Teachers College, California, Pa.  Member of Laurel
  Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, Trinity Chapter 138
  Order of the Eastern Star, Somerset, and Jennerstown Fire Department
  Ladies Auxiliary.  Retired elementary school teacher for the former
  J.B.J. Joint and J.B. school districts with 35 years of service. 
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where an O.E.S service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. James A. McCormick Jr.
  officiating.  Interment, Beam Cemetery near Gray.
