Grace Murray, 77, of Corriganville, died February 13, 1974, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been a patient three weeks. Born July 19, 1896, in Southampton Township, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Missouri Isabelle Baker Pfeiffer. Mrs. Murray was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Corriganville, its ladies aid, Senior Citizens of Corriganville and McKinley Chapter 12, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member and protector of Sisterhood 111, Dames of Malta and honorary member and past president of Corriganville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Maurice Murray; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle McWilliams, Meyersdale; Mrs. Ellsworth Rizer*, Mrs. Howard Andrews, Mrs. Thomas Hardinger, Corriganville; Mrs. Wilbur Wood, Cumberland; a son, Ward Murray, Corriganville; a brother, J. Ward Pfeiffer, Nankin, Ohio; two sisters, Miss Ruth Pfeiffer, Corriganville; and Mrs. Olive Mason, Akron, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Both the Order of Eastern Star and the Dames of Malta held Memorial services at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman. Funeral services were conducted February 16 at St. John's Church, the Rev. Douglas Borko officiating. Interment was in the Amity United Church of Christ cemetery, Meyersdale. Pallbearers were six nephews: William Matthews, Ted Toner, Paul Poorbaugh, John W.
