  MAURICE L. MURRAY
  
    Maurice L. Murray, 58, of Meyersdale RD 4, died June 24, 1980, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born April 16, 1922, Sand Patch, son of Vera (Petenbrink)
  Murray of Meyersdale RD 4 and the late Irvin Murray.  He was a
  brother of: Mrs. Thelma Bittinger, Salisbury; Mrs. Althea Fern
  Sturtz, Cresaptown, Md.; Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, Meyersdale; Mrs.
  Bernice Bradford, Fort Ashby, Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Louise Marie
  Best, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Mrs. Marjorie Ann Harrington, Los Angeles,
  Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Anna Bittinger, Oakland; nine grandchildren
  and six great-grandchildren.  
    Friends were received at the John O. Durst Funeral Home, Oakland,
  Md.  A Masonic Memorial service was held at the funeral home.
    Services were conducted in St. John's Lutheran Church by the Rev.
  Bernard W. Carl.
    In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take
  the form of donations to St. John's Lutheran Church or Southern
  Garrett County Rescue Squad.
