She was born August 9, 1937 in Cumberland, MD, daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy (Witt) Porter. Patricia is survived by her husband of 52 years, Howard K. and these children: Deborah, wife of Dale Kerchensteiner, and Trina, wife of Joseph Hartline, both of Meyersdale; grandchildren: Daniel Kerchensteiner and wife, Loren, Melbourne, FL; Nicole Kerchensteiner and friend, Scott; Kayla and Joey Hartline, Meyersdale; great grandchildren: Trevor, Mercedes, William, Landon and Emmalee. She is the sister of: Maxine Clarke, Michigan; Elwood and Richard Porter, Meyersdale and Wayne Porter, Mt. Savage, MD. Patricia was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandma. She always put others before herself- cooking, cleaning and babysitting. She will be remembered for helping others and will be sadly missed by all her loved ones. She was a member20of St. John's United Methodist Church (Temple), Meyersdale, where she was active in Ladies Aid. Friends were received Friday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Saturday she was taken to St. John's United Methodist Church to lie in State. Officiating was Pastors David Bowman and Marlin Miller. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
