     Robert S. Murray, 80 of Garrett, died May 17, 2006 at his home.   Born June 25, 1925
  in Hooversville, a son of the late Israel and Pearl (Lytle) Murray. Also preceded in
  death by his wife, the former Juanita Fullerton; an infant grandson, Travis Michael
  Murray; brothers: Leonard, Dallas, Jimmy, and Merle; a sister, Lottie; and son-in-law,
  Michael Bowers.
     Survived by three children: Robert W. Murray, and his wife Susan, Garrett; Thomas G.
  Murray, and his wife Darlene, Berlin; and Vera Jean Bowers, Garrett. Grandchildren: Brian
  Murray, Angela Welker, Dawn Cipallina, Troy Murray, and Jeannie DeMuth, Great
  grandchildren: Travis Paul Murray, Angel Murray, Skyelynne Murray, Kayden Murray, Cody
  Welker, Briar Sheets, Isabella Cipollina, and Tyler Murray. A brother of Esther Murray,
  Meyersdale. A friend and neighbor of Randy Dirienzo. 
    A Veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII. Retired from Decker Construction and the maintenance
  crew for the Somerset County Commissioners. His hobbies included dirt track racing,
  singing, and playing guitar. 
    Friends were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ken Davis
  officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett. Memorials may be made to the "In
  Touch" Hospice, Somerset. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc.,
  Meyersdale.
