Murray, 80, Salisbury died Feb. 14, 2000 at his home. He was born Feb. 22, 1919 in Meyersdale, a son of the late Harry A. and Sadie (Schrock) Murray. Also preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy, and a sister, Mabel Kremer. He is survived by his widow Ardith (Miller) Murray and these children: William E. and Rodger V., both of Meyersdale; Linda Witt of Hyndman; Donnie Lishia and Connie Murray, both of Salisbury. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters Hilda Krause and Margaret Rice, both of Meyersdale. He owned and operated Van Murray Sawmill in Meyersdale. He attended St. Johns U.C.C. Salisbury. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
