"Gunner" Muscatello, 75, 410 11th St., Windber died March 12, 2001 at Regional Hospice at Windber. Born Jan. 10, 1926 in Windber son of Joseph P. and Amelia (Maffeo) Muscatello. Preceded in death by father, niece Linda Muscatello. Survived by mother, Windber, and these brothers and sisters: Anthony, and friend Joan Nihoff, both of Windber; Frank J., married to the former Susan Oyler, Wickliffe, Ohio; Joann, wife of Michael Sotosky, Windber; William R., and wife Dora, Leesburg, Fla.; John L., at home; Mary Jane, wife of George Semivan, Medina, Ohio, and Michael married to the former Joyce Fabian, and Amelia, wife of George Pierre, both of Windber. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Army/Air Force veteran of Korean Conflict. Member of LOOM, American Legion, VFW, and Polish Falcons, all of Windber. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday. Committal church cemetery. Military graveside rite by Windber VFW. The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held.
