  D. JAY MUSSER
  
    D. Jay Musser, 80, of Berlin RD 4, died Oct. 23, 1975, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born in Brothersvalley Township,
  Sept. 24, 1895, he was a son of Jacob M. and Elizabeth (Beachy)
  Musser.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Ethel
  Buckman, and a brother, Earl.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Mildred (Sivits) Yoder; and
  four daughters, Mrs. William (Catherine) Rhodes, of Adelphi, Md.;
  Mrs. Harold (Helen) Geiger, of North Canton, Ohio; Mrs. George (Mary)
  Lambert, of Dushore, Pa.; and Mrs. Robert (Rae) Hoffman of Berlin;
  five stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren.  He
  was a brother of Mrs. Maude Showman, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Mary Werner and
  Mrs. Ruth Shultz, both of Berlin.
    Mr. Musser was a member of Berlin Brethren Church, a charter member
  of the Berlin Lions Club and a well-known retired farmer of
  Brothersvalley Township.
    Funeral service was held October 26 in Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home, Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating.  Interment in
  Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
