Musser, 85, one of the best known residents of the Brothersvalley Township section, died at 12:30 o'clock last Thursday morning at his home after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Musser spent his entire life on the farm on which he was born. He was an active church worker, having served as elder and deacon in the Berlin Reformed Church for many years. The deceased was a son of Alex and Julia (Brubaker) Musser and was born on March 10, 1857. His wife, Mrs. Amanda (Schrock) Musser, is deceased. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ella M. Gnagey, Berlin R.D.; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary S. Koontz, Berlin, and Mrs. Ella Countryman, Berlin R.D. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Musser home by Rev. John Bethune, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Meyersdale Republican, April 2, 1942
