  MYERS
  
    Catherine Elizabeth "Betty" Myers, 88, of Somerset and Mt. Union,
  died Jan. 10, 2000, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 24, 1911, in
  Newton Hamilton, she was the daughter of Thomas Francis and Lura Sara
  (Keiser) Sechrist.  Preceded in death by husband, Harold Myers. 
  Survived by brother, Paul K. Sechrist of Somerset, and sister, Mrs.
  Josephine S. Davis of Baltimore, Md.  She was a graduate of Mt. Union
  High School and Juniata College.  She was a retired elementary teacher
  from Newton Hamilton Elementary School.  Member of First United
  Methodist Church of Mt. Union.  No viewing or visitation.  Memorial
  services will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday at St. Francis in the Fields
  Episcopal Church, Somerset, Father Mark Zimmerman officiating, and at
  11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, Mt. Union,
  Rev. Dr. Kenneth Grundon and Fr. Thomas Warne officiating. 
  Interment, Newton Hamilton Memorial Cemetery.  Contributions may be
  made to Somerset County Build Center, 748 South Center Ave.,
  Somerset, Pa 15501, or County P.O. Box 182, Somerset, Pa 15501.
