She was born June 9, 1918, in Shaw Mines, the daughter of Valentino and Angela (DiChesari) DiValentino, and August 31, 1946, in Washington, D.C., married the Rev. Grover C. Myers Jr. Surviving are her husband, four children: Robert W. and Jean A., of Gloucester, Mass.; Priscilla G. Goshey, of Duncansville, and Deborah A. of Johnstown; and two grandsons. She is also survived by a brother and four sisters: Gallie, of Meyersdale; Nellie Cuzzo, of Takoma Park, Md.; Stella Edwards, of Grantsville, Md.; Gloria Nyheim, of Philadelphia; and Georgia Solt, of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Mrs. Myers attended Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church, in Duncansville. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. A 1936 graduate of Meyersdale High School, she was also a graduate of the Mabel Hoor School of Beauty and cosmetology, Washington, D.C. Friends were received at Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church, Duncansville where services were held Wednesday, November 22. Arrangements were by Haller-Sorge Funeral Home.
