McVicker 
Ryann Lynn McVicker, 45, of Stoystown (Ralphton), died February 17, 2015 at 
home. Born December 30, 1969 in Somerset, son of Neil Sechler “Chip” and 
Linda (Carpenter) McVicker. 
Preceded in death by grandparents: Clarence “Punch” and Margaret McVicker, 
and Gerald Hanson Carpenter. 
Survived by parents, of Ralphton; wife of 16 years the former Dawn Bell; 
brother, Robert McVicker married to the former Marcy Gumbert, Somerset; 
sister, Raquel McVicker and fiancé David Trevarrow, Ralphton; grandmother, 
Josephine (Gowarty) Carpenter, Jenner Crossroads; 20 nieces and nephews, and 
7 great nephews. 
He was a 1988 graduate of North Star High School. Employed by Eagle Concrete 
for 22 years and worked on the family farm. Member of Horner Lutheran Church 
and Cold Spring Hunting Camp. He loved to spend time working on his tractors 
and riding his gator, and spending time and reminiscing with friends, family 
and neighbors. He enjoyed traveling on cruises and visiting Gettysburg with 
Dawn, and spending time with his beloved pets, Gingee and January. 
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner 
Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at Sipesville Church of the Brethren. Rev. Cecil Lohr officiating. 
Interment Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
