Nagle, 80, of 208 Mississippi St., Boswell formerly of Acosta died unexpectedly Jan. 29, 1976 at home. Born April 1, 1895 in Altoona, a son of Aaron E. and Maude Carroll Nagle. Preceded in death by parents, a son William F. and a sister Mrs. Mary Miles. Survived by his widow, the former Sarah MacLaren; two daughters, Helen, wife of Chalmer Chronister, of Chambersburg; and Loaettis, wife of Dr. Arthur DiVittis, of Latrobe. Nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Brother of Myrle J. of Boswell; Edna, George and Mrs. Enid Toby, all of Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Audrey Bittner of Cleveland, Ohio. Was a longtime member of and elder of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell, and a member of the Tire Hill Local 998 of the UMWA. Mr. and Mrs. Nagle celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary Sept. 4, 1975. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and Sunday and until 11 a.m. Monday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 will then be removed to the Covenant Presbyterian Church for viewing from 12 noon until time to service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Carl R. Hull officiating.
