Born Aug. 3, 1913, in Confluence, daughter of the late George and Agnes (Swan) Phillippi. Preceded in death by a son, David S. Nagle and a brother J.A. Phillippi. She had been married for 62 years to the Rev. Robert S. Nagle, who survives her. Also survived by a son, the Rev. Dr. John R. Nagle of Cary, N.C., and his wife Lanie, 8 grand- children and 6 great-grandchildren, and a sister Betty Day of Denver, Colo. For the last five years she had been a resident of The Glen at Willow Valley in Lancaster. She was a graduate of the Cumberland, Md. school system. Before her marriage Mrs. Nagle was a music teacher, who was a 1934 graduate of Temple University. She had been active in all aspects of church life, and served as an officer of numerous local and synod auxiliaries. She had also been active in the Gettysburg College Women's League and a variety of local charities in the communities where she lived. Relatives amd friends are invited to call at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Chester Pike and Winona Avenue, Norwood, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills.
