  Henry A. Nair, 71, Somerset, died Dec. 7, 2005, in Johnstown.
  
  Born Sept. 5, 1934, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Herbert S. and Helen
  Mae (Merkel) Nair Sr. Also preceded in death by brother, George, and an infant
  sister. Survived by his wife, Fumie (Nakatani) Nair; children, Mrs. Wayne E.
  (Linda) Broadwater, Berlin; and James A. Nair, married to the former Stacey
  Sayler, Somerset; grandchildren, Courtney Marie Broadwater and Andrew James
  Nair and also an expected grandchild; twin brother, Herbert S. Nair Jr., and
  wife Lois, Somerset; and brother, Harry Robert Nair, and wife Donna, Stoystown;
  and several nieces and nephews. Life member of VFW Post 554 and proudly served
  as a sergeant 1st class in the Army from 1953 to 1957 and in the National Guard
  from 1958 to 1961. He was employed by Shaffer Rock Bit and Leiss Tool and Die.
  Friends received 7 to 9 Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The
  Rev. Roger Huffman officiating. Interment in Husband Cemetery. Contributions
  may be made to Somerset County Honor Guard, 139 W. Union St., Somerset, PA
  15501.
