Nancarvis, 36, of 610 Sunshine Ave., Central City, died April 15, 1989, at Windber Hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1952, in Shade Township, daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Shirley (Cable) Collins. Preceded in death by brother, Harold. Survived by these children: Ronald Jr., Chad and Wendy, at home. Sister of Joseph Jr., David, Nancy Mains, Richard, Catherine Kralik and Gary, all of Cairnbrook; Robert, Central City; Dennis, Friedens; Debra Hartman and Christine, both of Acosta; and Beverly Layton, Somerset; and friend, William Brant. She was employed as a cook at Black Nugget Restaurant, Reels Corner. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Merlin O. Sjoberg. Interment, Glade Cemetery.
