Nathan, 81, a retired Grantsville attorney, died Aug. 3, at Baker VA Center, Martinsburg. Born in Grantsville, he was a son of the late Michael and Virginia Louise (Beachy) Nathan. A veteran of World War I, he was a graduate of St. John's College of Annapolis, and achieved the rank of captain in the army. He went to law school at the University of virginia and graduated in 1932. He practiced in Grantsville for 28 years and was formerly associated with Benny Epstein until his death. He was a charter member of Grantsville American Legion, Post 214, organized the Casselman Valley Sportsmen's Club and was a charter member of the Grantsville Rotary Club. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted August 5, by Rev. Paul Lovejoy. Interment in Grantsville Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic August 12, 1976
