Born June 24, 1918, in Hooversville RD 1, son of Josiah E. and Ertie Belle (Lehman) Naugle. Preceded in death by parents, two infant children, son, James, sister, Edith and brother, Albert. Survived by wife, the former Zella Lohr, and these children; Gary W., married to the former Cathie Cottic, Troy, Mich.; Linda, wife of Floyd Thomas, Lancaster; Bernard, Troy, Mich.; Dean, Ferndale, Mich.; Deborah, wife of Gary Jones, Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of: Florence, wife of John Ohler, Alice Naugle and Agnes Weible, all of Windber; Roy, married to the former Mary Demchak, and Josephine, wife of Kenneth Holsopple, both of Hooversville RD 1; Evalyn Ott, Windber RD 1; and Joseph, married to the former Gladys Wain, Ashland, Ohio. Member of St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church. Army veteran of World War II serving in Europe and Panama. Retired farmer and worked for his brother at Naugle Feed and Supply. Married since Dec. 2, 1945. Family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Gerald Myers officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
