Navalaney, 67, of Central City RD, died Jan. 13, 1995 at home. Born Feb. 10, 1927, in Cairnbrook, a son of John and Anna (Batko) Navalaney. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Stanley, and sisters: Stella Rusek, and Mary Zepka. Survived by wife the former, Mary Lou Smith-Biller; stepdaughter, Linda, wife of Edward Hawse of Mt. Pleasant; and grandchildren: Jason, and Justin. Brother of Sophie Fetsko, Central City, Lydia Glosky, Windber, and Frank, and Joseph both of Maryland. Also survived by a number of nieces, and nephews. Long time owner of the Buckhorn Inn, and member of the P.N.A. Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday, and after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where brief service will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday followed at 10 a.m. by Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Central City. The Rev. Monsignor I.C. Wadas. Interment, St. John Cantius Cemetery, Windber. Vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at funeral home.
