  NAVALANEY
  
    Julia T. Navalaney, 73, Central City, died Aug. 27, 1996, at Memorial
  Medical Center. Born July 3, 1923, in Central City, daughter of Albert and
  Victoria (Oravec) Novotny. Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, Adolph;
  husband, Stanley Sr., and son-in-law, Jeff. Survived by children: Vicki, wife
  of Terry Rockwell, Lancaster, S.C.; Thomas, married to the former Becky
  Johnson, Bethlehem, Pa.; Diane Jones, Central City; Stanley Jr. "Butch,"
  married to the former Shella Emerick, La Vale, Md.; grandchildren: Susan,
  wife of Roger Lawton; Sarah Rockwell, Amy Jones, Stan III and Amber
  Navalaney; great-grandson, Alexander Lawton. Sister of Ann Palya, Central
  City. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Thursday at Mulcahy Funeral Home,
  Central City, where brief service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed
  at 10 by Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic
  Church, Central City, with the Rev. Msgr. I.C. Wadas officiating. Interment,
  parish cemetery. Vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral
  home. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Our Lady's Burse of
  Sacred Heart or the Regional Hospice at Windber in Julia's memory.
