"Red" Nedrow, 82, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 21, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Nov. 30, 1915, in Meyersdale, a son of the late George N. and Annie G. (Smith) Nedrow. Survived by his wife, the former Bernice Ringler, and two children, Gary K. Nedrow, Richmond, Va., and Robin D. Nedrow, Meyersale; two grandchildren, Cassandra Imhof and Kimberly Nedrow; also three great-grandchildren. Retired partner of Summit Erectors, Meyersdale. World War II neteran of U.S. Army. Member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. "Red" was very proud of his community, and he served it well by example. He was a life member of the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Dept., member of the American Legion Post 112, B.P.O.E. Lodge 1951, Laurel Falls Association, Hi-Point Trailriders and Meyersdale Ambulance Association. He was an honorary director of the Pa. Maple Festival and was the drum major of the Kelley Corps. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor John A. Nalley officiating. Interment, Fritz Cemetery. Firemen's memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 112 and VFW Post 3504.
