Born July 6, 1934, in Indian Head, he is the son of the late William and Jennie (Miller) Nedrow. He is also preceded in death by sons, Roger and James; and daughter, Rose Marie Nedrow; sisters, Catherine Whipkey, Armitta Whipkey, Carrie Geary, and half sister, Edwina Shawley; and brothers, Domer, Ken, and Clair Nedrow. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie (Klink) Nedrow; children, Donald C. Nedrow Jr., Pittsburgh; William Nedrow and wife, Cathy (Teets), Perryopolis; Betsy Smith and husband, Charles Sr., Rockwood; David Nedrow Sr. and wife, Rose (Purbaugh), Rockwood; Nancy Culverhouse and husband, Morgan, Chicago; and Vicki Nedrow and partner, Ray Galway, Bentleyville; 11 grand- children; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Howard, Jennerstown; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was retired following 40 years as a mechanic for Saylor Motor Co. and Luther P. Miller Inc. in Somerset. He worked part time as a custodian in the Rockwood Area School District for six years. He was a past volunteer ambulance crew member for the New Centerville fire department and attended Rockwood Alliance Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to spend time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. He will be greatly missed by his animal companions Max the Dog and Missy Kitty. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Rockwood Alliance Church, the Rev. Patrick Walsh officiating. Interment at Tinkey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Rockwood Alliance Church at 438 Harvest Drive, Rockwood, PA 15557.
