Born Dec. 1, 1924, in Selbysport, Md., he was a son of the late Charles P. and Hattie (Grover) Nedrow. He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Edna Deal, a daughter, Barbara Kinkin, and a brother, Charles Nedrow. Mr. Nedrow was a highway construction worker and is survived by two daughters, Debra Tavanto, Tenn., and Linda Smeale, Ariz.; two stepsons, Julius and Norman Deal, both of Salisbury; two brothers, Murrel Nedrow, Oakland, and Robert Nedrow, Baltimore; one sister, Irene Sisler, Margate, Fla.; four grandchildren, Ronald and Christopher and Heather and Brandon; three step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md. where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Hill. Daily American, Aug. 4, 2000
