She was born April 20, 1912 in Trent, Somerset County. A daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Miller Shaulis. She was the last of her immediate family being preceded in death by her husband Glenn Neiderhiser in 1984, a son Winfred, six brothers, Clarence E. Shailis, Lloyd W. Shaulis, Richard D. Shaulis, Lawrence (Darling) Shaulis, Elmer (Ruth) Shaulis and Robert Shaulis, She is survived by a daughter Shirley Lamberson and husband William of Champion, three sons, Richard Neiderhiser of Mt. Pleasant, Milton Neiderhiser and wife Mary Ellen and Robert Neiderhiser and wife Mary Ann all of Champion. Also, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a devout homemaker dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home on Rt. 711 in Melcroft where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Joseph Wingrove officiating. Committal and Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion. Daily American, Sept. 21, 2001
