Neilan, 73, 538 Tayman Ave., Somerset, died June 10, 1986, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Aug. 3, 1912, in Cambria, Wy., he was a son of the late James F. and Agnes (McLaughlin) Neilan. Preceded in death by a brother, James A., and a sister, Mary. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth L., and these children, Mrs. David (Betsy) Sullivan, Seminary, Miss.; Mary Margaret, Minneapolis, Minn.; David L., Cambridge Springs; and two grandchildren, Sylvia and Patrick Sullivan. Brother of Ruth Neilan, Somerset; Mrs. Frank (Eileen) Byrne, Bowling Green, Ky.; Mrs. Stanley (Gertrude) Titcomb, Port Chester, N.Y.; Mrs. John (Patsy) O'Brien, Washington; Mrs. George (Nancy) Spelcher, Rockwood; and John B., Madison, Wis. A former president of Neilan Engineers Inc., he was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, where a Requiem Mass will be held Friday June 13 at 10 a.m. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
