  NEMEC, Mary Jane (Mickey)  04/13/06  Daily American
  
    Mary Jane "Mickey" Nemec, 64, Irwin (Wendel), died April 11, 2006, in Mercy Jeannette
  Hospital. She was born June 3, 1941, in Somerset, a daughter of the late Ralph and Anna
  Belle (Hileman) King. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband
  Joseph P. Nemec (1997), and a sister, Elizabeth Staigvil. Mickey is survived by six
  brothers, Robert King and wife, June, Rockwood; Melvin King, Confluence; Samuel King and
  wife, Penny, Friedens; Roger King and wife, Connie, Rockwood; David, Listonburg; James
  King and wife, Jolinda, Confluence; four sisters, Louise Philippi, Confluence; Violet
  Glover and husband, Larry, Rockwood; Sharon Younkin and husband, Tom, Confluence; Dana
  Williams and husband, Tom, Confluence; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces
  and nephews. Prior to her retirement, Mickey was on the manufacturing staff for the Sony
  Corp. in New Stanton. Mickey and her husband, Joe also ran The Nemec Star Dairy in Wendel
  for many years. She was a member of the St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, Herminie.
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  at the Joseph W. Nickels Funeral Home Inc., Herminie, where St. Edward Parish Rosary will
  be recited 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A funeral liturgy will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the
  funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Trupkovich officiating. Interment will follow at
  Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
