    NEVELING
 
  Thelma R. Neveling, 84, of Garrett, died May 21, 2003 at her residence. 
  Born Jan. 17, 1919 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Harry and
  Maggie (Burket) Burket.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph;
  stepson Clayton; sisters: Evelyn F. Ash, Hazel Showman, Mabel Burket, and
  Amanda Bowman; half sisters, Eva Emert and Twila Sevits.  Survived by two
  stepchildren, Patricia Louise and Samuel; also 11 step grandchildren;
  sister, Mrs. Charles (Martha) Cramer of Berlin and several nieces and
  nephews.  A 1937 graduate of Somerset High School and loved making quilts
  for family and friends.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Saturday with Roy Worsham officiating.  Interment in Beachdale
