FAYE IONA NEWMAN 
May 4, 1922 - December 11, 2003

  Faye Iona Newman, 81, of Salisbury, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at her 
residence.
  Born May 4, 1922, at Sunbright, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Northrup.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. 
Newman, August 19, 2002.
  Mrs. Newman was a retired seamstress for Meyersdale Manufacturing and 
Salisbury Undergarment Factory.  She was a member of the Salisbury Church of 
the Brethren.
  She is survived by one brother, Ivan "Bud" Northrup, Cornelia, Ga., and 
several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury, Friday.  
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, December 
13, with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.  Interment was in the Salisbury 
Cemetery.

Faye Iona Newman, 81, of 114 Union St., Salisbury, died Dec. 11, 2003, at her
residence.  Born May 4, 1922, at Sunbright, Tenn., she is the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Northrup.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry H.
Newman, Aug. 19, 2002.  She is survived by one brother, Ivan "Bud" Northrup,
Cornelia, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Newman was a retired
seamstress for Meyersdale Manufacturing and Salisbury Undergarment Factory.
She was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc.,
9168 Mason Dixon Highway, Salisbury.  Service will be conducted at the funeral
home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be
