MRS. RICHARD NEWMAN

  Mrs. Minerva V. Newman, 90, Salisbury, died Saturday, March 3, at her home.  
Born in Greenville Township, Jan. 9, 1879, she was a daughter of the late Frank 
and Savilla (Saylor) Murray and was the widow of Richard Newman, who died in 
1932.  She was a member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren.
  Surviving are a son, Harry H. Newman, Salisbury; and three sisters, Mrs. 
Stella Miller, Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Orpha Morris and Mrs. Ruth Miller, both 
of Akron, Ohio.
  Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Salisbury Church of the 
Brethren, with Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.  Burial was made in 
Salisbury IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.
