    ROBERT C. NEWMAN
   
  Robert C. Newman, 85, of Salisbury died August 3, 1976 in Berlin.  
    
  Born September 9, 1890 in Salisbury, the son of the late Nevin and Mary
  (Glotfelty) Newman, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former
  Florence Ringler.
    
  He is survived by three sons: Theodore and Joseph of Meyersdale RD 1; and
  Charles of Dunkirk, N.Y.; also three daughters: Mrs. Harriet Gruber,
  Reading; and Mrs. Esther DiValentino, Meyersdale and Mrs. Carmen Folk,
  Salisbury; also 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
    
  Friends were recieved at the Thomas Funeral Home in Salisbury where
  services were held August 6, the Rev. Joseph Hanna officiating.  Interment
  Salisbury Cemetery.
