    NEWMAN
  
  Ruby K. Newman, 82, of Salisbury, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 16, 1916, in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late
  Frank and Sally (May) Newman.  Survivors include a brother, Lewis Newman,
  Keyser, W.Va., a sister, Mary Belle Chaconas, Fairhope, and eight nieces
  and nephews.  Member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren and American
  Legion Auxiliary.  Had been employed as a draftswoman for a map company
  during WWII and was a retired seamstress for Salisbury Manufacturing Co.  A
  service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at Salisbury Church of the
  Brethren with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.  Interment,
  Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Salisbury
  Church of the Brethren.  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., is
  in charge of arrangements.
