  Theodore Nevin Newman, 89, of 228 Coal Run Rd., Meyersdale, died Jan. 6,
  1999, at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.  Born March 21, 1909, in Salisbury,
  he was a son of the late Robert C. and Florence (Ringler) Newman.  Survived
  by 2 brothers, Joe R., Meyersdale, and Charles, Dunkirk, N.Y.; a sister,
  Carmen Folk, Berlin.  Retired truck drive for Air Products Co. U.S. Army
  veteran of  World War II.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at the William Rowe Price Funeral Home Inc., Meyersdale, where
  services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Robert Stahl
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy
  maybe(sic) directed to Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale.
