  Vinnie Mae Newman, 97, of Friedens, RD 1, died Sept. 17, 1977 in Berlin. 
  She was born on Dec. 15, 1879 in Somerset County, a daughter of Josiah and
  Ellen Jane (Baker) Newman.  Preceded in death by two sons, Dewey E. Schrock
  and George A. Schrock and a brother George.  Survived by two grandchildren,
  Mrs. Raymond Durst, Friedens, RD 1 and J. Robert Schrock, Somerset, and
  five great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home where services will be held Monday (today) at 10:30
  a.m. with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
