  Mildred M. Newton, 75, died Sept. 25, 2001, in Olathe, Kansas.
    
  Born Aug. 24, 1926, she was the daughter of Sprugeon C. and Alpha A.
  (Tressler) Diveley.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister
  Arlene Mae.
    
  She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Newton, Olathe; sister Zona D.
  Coleman and husband Robert F. Coleman, Route 4, Meyersdale; and several
  nieces and nephews.
    
  She was buried Sept. 29 in Gardner, Kansas.
