  Ida B. Nicholas, 84, Salem, Ohio, died Sept. 28, 1984, at Salem Community
  Hospital.  Born April 7, 1900, in Rockwood, a daughter of the late Aaron
  and Mathilda (McSpadden) Bitner.  Preceded in death by a sister, Mae, and a
  brother, Charles.  Survived by her husband, Arthur D. Nicholas, whom she
  married July 28, 1927; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Rosemary) Gurba, Cleveland,
  Ohio; a sister, Blanche Hersh, Rockwood; a brother, Robert Bitner, Cape Cod,
  Mass., two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
