  WILLIAM M. NICHOLAS
  
    William M. Nicholas, 82, of Rockwood, died Sept. 20, 1973, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 1, 1891, he was a son of Michael and Mary
  Ellen (Bennett) Nicholas.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Morrison; a son, John, Rockwood;
  five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Nicholson of Aitch (Huntingdon
  County), and Mrs. Margaret Dupont of Rockwood.
    He retired in 1957 from the B&O Railroad, after 39 years of service.
    Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon in William J. Wood Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, with Rev. George Lyford officiating.  Interment in Rockwood
  IOOF Cemetery.
