  MARTIN G. NICHOLS 
  
    Martin G. Nichols, 67, of Confluence RD 1, died Friday, Feb. 4, 1983, at
  home.   
    He was born Feb. M, 1915, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late
  Clarence G. and Dora (Steyer) Nichols.   
    He is survived by his wife, Hazel M. (Lyons) Nichols; and the following
  children: Mrs. Irma Miller, Central City; Mrs. Maxine Meck, Waynesboro;
  George W., John and Martin Jr., all of Confluence; Mrs. Arlene Burnworth,
  Rockwood; James, at home; and Donald, Confluence; 17 grandchildren; three
  sisters: Mrs. Ethel Mitchell, Markleton; Mrs. Violet King, Rockwood; and
  Mrs. Dorothy Shroyer, Confluence; also a half-sister, Jean Harbaugh, and a
  half-brother, Harold Ohler, both of Confluence.  He was preceded in death
  by a half-sister, Norma Lytle. 
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services were held with the Rev. August B. Twigg officiating.  Interment,
  Steyer Cemetery,
