   Karen Y. "Nippy" Nicholson, 61, Somerset, passed on Jan. 28, 2007, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Aug. 20, 1945, in Casselman, she is the daughter of the late Peter and Mae (O'Brien)
  Nicholson. She is survived by her sisters, Arlene DeFebo, Meyersdale; Mary Alice
  Alochney, Hollsopple; Eleanor Harbaugh, Somerset; Sandra Reckner and husband, Carl,
  Rittman, Ohio; and Beverly Harbaugh and husband, James; Bonnie Miller and husband, David;
  and Palma Long and husband, William, all of Rockwood; brothers, David Nicholson and wife,
  Ruth, Somerset, Dalton Nicholson and wife, Carol, Meyersdale; and Kenneth Nicholson and
  wife, Deloris, Paynesville, Ohio; longtime special friend, Calvin Beggs, Somerset; and
  numerous nieces and nephews. She was an accomplished cake decorater at Riverside Market
  in Somerset. She loved to fish and also loved her two dogs "Precious" and "Babykins." She
  was most recently employed by the Somerset Towers, where she enjoyed working with the
  older citizens living there. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
  Interment at K i n g w o o d IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home,
  Rockwood.
