Nicholson, 73, a resident of Caledonia Manor, Fayetteville, and formerly of 4026 White Church Road, Chambersburg, died at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 1996, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 22, 1923, in Bitner, Pa. He was a son of the late Franklin P. and Lena E. (Hall) Nicholson. He was retired from Blue Mountain Feed and Mobiling. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre and spent six months as a P.O.W. Survived by his wife, Teressa L. (Alexander) Nicholson; 4 sons: Rodger Nicholson and Paul Nicholson, both of Ohiopyle; Roy F. Nicholson, Chambersburg, and John R. Nicholson, Mercersburg; 3 daughters: Donna Nicholson, Ohiopyle; Nancy Nicholson, Normalville, and Sue Ann Nicholson, Roxbury; also a sister, Oma E. Reim, Sabinsville, Pa., and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg, the Rev. Willis I. Murray officiating. Burial, Air Hill Cemetery, Greene Township.
