  NICHOLSON
  
  Melvin T. Nicholson, 58, of Willow Grove, formerly of Acosta, died July 26,
  1986 at his residence.  Born Sept. 11, 1927 in Davistown, Fayette County. 
  Son of the late Edward H. Nicholson.  Survived by his mother, Hazel Miller
  Nicholson, of Acosta; his wife of 32 years, the former Grace Gephart; three
  children, William Edward, Danny, and Sherry, all of Willow Grove; one
  sister, Loretta Stroke of Acosta; one brother, Arnold, married to the
  former Tina Bonora of Stow, Ohio.  Veteran of World War II serving with the
  U.S. Army in the Phillippines.  He was a roofing contractor in the
  Philadelphia area.  Friends will be received 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at
  11 a.m.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
