  NICHOLSON
  
  Oliver R. Nicholson, 76, of Normalville died Friday, June 11, 1993.  He was
  born March 27, 1917 in Fayette County, a son of the late Frank and Cora
  Evans Nicholson.  He was the owner and operator of the O. R. Nicholson and
  Son Lumber Company of Normalville.  He was a member of the Normalville
  United Methodist Church.  He is survived by one son, Kenneth (Buck)
  Nicholson of Normalville, two daughters:  Virginia Firestone of Normalville
  and Mrs. Thomas (Kay Lynn) Chaffin of Cookeville, Tenn.; 7 grandchildren and
  6 great grandchildren; 5 brothers:  Edward, Elmer and James Nicholson of
  Connellsville, Benjamin of Mill Run and Charles of Normalville RD 1; 2
  sisters:  Mildred King of Normalville and Nellie Porterfield of Mill Run
  and his dear friend Helen Ohler.  He was predeceased by his wife, Lena F.
  Porterfield Nicholson in 1967.  Friends will be received at The Clyde
  Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, Sunday from 10 a.m. until 9
  p.m.  Additional viewing will take place Monday at the Normalville United
  Methodist Church from 1 until 2 p.m. the hour of funeral services in the
  church with the Rev. Samuel Weible and the Rev. John Zimmerman
  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Normalville Cemetery.
