  Oretta Christena "Tena" Nicholson, 82, Confluence RD 3, died Dec. 29, 1989,
  at the home of her son.  Born Jan. 6, 1907, in Maple Summit, daughter of the
  late John Wesley and Anise Jeanette (Burnsworth) Rugg.  Surviving are her
  husband, Charles, and the following children:  Alvin, Confluence; Elva,
  married to Glenn Hoover, Confluence; Gabriel, married to former Shirley
  Holliday, Fort Hill; Roger, married to former Madeline Holliday,
  Listonburg; Norma, married to Meredith Snyder, Accident, Md.; Reece,
  married to former Martha Kreger, Confluence; Rampsey, married to Nancy,
  Sewell, N.J.; Cindy, married to James Sheaffer, Apollo; Joyce, married to
  James Porterfield, Confluence, and Leesta Lichty, Listonburg, and a
  grandson whom she raised, Darwin, married to Debbie (King) Kemp of Manuta,
  N.J.  Also 40 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 47
  great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by daughter, Vilda Holliday, and
  four infant children.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today, and 10
  a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Funeral
  services at 11 a.m. Monday from the Silbaugh Methodist Church, with the
  Rev. Richard McClintock and the Rev. John Hickson officiating.  Interment,
  Silbaugh Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at Silbaugh Church one hour
  before service.
