  RALPH E. NICHOLSON
  
  Ralph E. Nicholson, 75, of Meyersdale RD 3, died September 9, 1977, in
  Berlin.
  A native of the late Richard and Fanny (Lepley) Nicholson.  His wife,
  Bertha (Swearman) Nicholson, preceded him in death.
  Mr. Nicholson was a charter member and co-founder of Laurel Falls
  Association, a retired employee of Shipley Hardware, a member of St. Paul
  Wilhelm United Church of Christ and a charter member of Meyersdale
  Sportmen's Association.
  Surviving are three children, Mrs. Anns B. Yoder, Meyersdale RD 1; Richard
  G. and Harold E. Nicholson, Meyersdale; a brother, Alva J. Nicholson,
  Meyersdale RD 3; five sisters, Mrs. Nancy Uphold, Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs.
  Esther Hetrick, Mrs. Lillian Johnson, Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Voola Swearman,
  Meyersdale RD 4, and Mrs. Matilda Miller, Salisbury; eight grandchildren and
  three great-grandchildren.
  A service was conducted Monday at St. Paul Wilhelm Church with Rev. Walter
  Fike officiating.  Funeral arrangements were made by Leckemby Funeral
  Home.  Interment, the church cemetery.
