  VIRGINIA E. NICHOLSON
  
  Virginia E. Nicholson, 81, of West Church Street, Somerset, died Dec. 23,
  1988, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 3, 1907, in Jenner
  Township, daughter of the late Charles and Rebecca (Long) Moyer.  She was
  preceded in death by her parents; brothers:  Charles, Virgil, Freeman, and
  Romeo; and sister, Reba.  She is survived by 2 children:  Fred, Hilliard,
  Ohio; and Fleta Shaw, Somerset; 6 grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church,
  and retired from Somerset Drug Co.  Memorial service will be conducted at 1
  p.m. Thursday in Calvary United Methodist Church, the Rev. Harry C. Sherry
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Arrangements in charge of
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
  given to the Somerset Chapter of the American Cancer Society, or Calvary
  United Methodist Church.
