  JOHN L. NICKELSON
  
  John L. Nickelson, 75, Confluence, died Jan. 15, 2003, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 8, 1927 in Confluence, a son of the late Silas and
  Edith (Dayton) Nickelson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
  death by his wife Estelle (Taylor) Nickelson.  Survived by two sons, John
  and his wife Robin and Dennis and his wife Kay, all of Confluence; seven
  grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sara McCulley of
  Confluence, and Freda Hathaway, of Lorain, Ohio.  He was a U.S. Army
  veteran of World War II.  Retired from the B&O Railroad.  Friends will be
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the hour of
  service Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Rev. Duane Riddle
  officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
