  EFFIE MAY NICKLOW
  
  Effie May Nicklow, 102, Addison, died April 12, 2004, at Henry Clay Villa,
  Markleysburg.  She was born April 27, 1901, at Cove, Md., a daughter of the
  late Harry and Alverta (Augustine) Holliday.  In addition to her parents,
  she is preceded in death by her husband Lester, five brothers and three
  sisters.  She is survived by son Park and his wife June Nicklow, Addison; a
  daughter Margaret and her husband Burgett Thomas, Friendsville, Md.; two
  grandchildren, Linda Nichols and her husband Peter, Craig, Colo., and David
  Thomas and his wife Nancy, Friendsville, Md. Also four great-grandchildren:
  Peter J. Nichols II and wife Kristen, Alaska; Penny Nichols, Hawaii; Cindy
  Thomas, Morgantown, W. Va.; and Matthew Thomas, Lexington, Va.  She was a
  member of the Addison United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received at
  the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and at
  the Addison United Methodist Church on Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m., the
  hour of service.  The Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating.  Interment Addison
  Cemetery.  Family suggests memorial contributions to the Addison United
  Methodist Church.
