  NICKLOW
  
  Elva K. Nicklow, 87, of Acosta, died April 18, 2002, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 11, 1914, in Ursina, daughter of Jeremiah and Ida
  (Smith) Wable.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Wilbert "Bud," son
  Larry, sisters: Thelma Beas, Susan Griffith, and Clema Wable, and brothers
  Sam and Lou Wable.  Survived by these children: Beverly Nichol of New
  Castle, Donna, married to George R. "Dick" Barron of Acosta,  Sara Jane
  married to William Lewis of Barnesboro, and Wilbert "Jerry" married to the
  former Susan Pomroy of Windber.  Also survived by a daughter-in-law Grace
  Nicklow of York, 14 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, and three
  great-great-grandchildren.  A sister-in-law Clara Wable, and special friends
  June Omerzo, Mary Gavel and Ilga Ash.  Retired from the former
  Dorfman-Hoffman Sewing Factory, Boswell.  Member of ILGWU, Knotty Ladies
  Quilting Group, Boswell Senior Citizens, Somerset FOE Ladies Auxiliary, and
  Boswell American Legion Auxiliary.  she was an avid bingo player and Pirates
  fan.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from noon until service at 1 p.m.
  Saturday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell, Rev. Larry Hoover
  officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union
  St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
