She was born Nov. 25, 1869, hence was aged 62 years, 11 months and 19 days. She was employed as a cook at Hotel Dodds, Confluence, for about 35 years. She joined the Lutheran church on March 22, 1885, and was a faithful member the remainder of her life. She took to her bed the last week of March, 1932, and was confined to it until death relieved her suffering. She was conscious to the last and was very patient through all her suffering. She is mourned by two sisters, Mrs. Dianna Mitchell and Mrs. Milton Craig, both of Addison, and one brother, Elijah Nicklow, of Ruffsdale, Pa. Funeral services were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Milton Craig, on Friday afternoon, Oct. 14, conducted by Rev. C. G. Russell, late pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church South at Jockey Valley and Listonburg, as Rev. George O. Ritter, her pastor, was attending Conference at Philadelphia. Her body was laid to rest in Mrs. Craig's lot in the Addison Cemetery. The funeral director in charge was Harry B. Rishebarger of Addison. Meyersdale Republican, October 20, 1932
