Nicklow, 88, Markleton RD 1, died Feb. 4, 1993, at home. Born Aug. 17, 1904, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late William M. and Minnie (Stairs) Nicklow. Preceded in death by first wife, Nannie G. (Saylor) Nicklow; two brothers, Harry and Clarence, and two sisters, Lola and Lula. Survived by wife, Evanell (Miner) Kimmel Nicklow, and the following children: Howard, Meyersdale; Everett, Berlin; Louise Kreger, Markleton; Clark, Boston, Mass.; Shirley Hoffman, Somerset; Dale, Markleton; and Cora Lee Tressler, Markleton; 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. Life-long farmer. Member of Kingwood Grange. Also a member of the Kingwood Church of God and a former director of the Rockwood Area School District. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., the hour of service, Sunday at the Kingwood Church of God, Rev.
